Gone are the days of arbitrary charges. Any penalty must now come with a prior written warning, follow a formal dispute process, and never exceed the owner’s monthly levy.

Schemes that lock owners into a specific agent to buy or rent their properties are no longer legal. That level of coercion is unconstitutional and will be overturned by CSOS.

– Keep a POPI (Protection of Personal Information) manual up to date

– Appoint and register an Information Officer with the Information Regulator
